I had my first article published in a small, faith-based magazine in 1989, but my writing journey began long before that. I really caught the writing bug when I was in high school and had a poem published in the Michigan Young Authors Magazine. I wrote my first book for children in 2000, and had my first children’s story published in Boys’ Quest magazine a few years later. Here are just a few of the places where my writing has been featured over the years:

  • On the Banks of the Black Volta, Boys Quest Magazine, June 2007
  • Water Into Mine,, Homelife Magazine
  • Know the Signs, Undetected Learning Disabilities Can Cause a Lifetime of Frustration, Metro Parent Magazine, February, 2005
  • Who Would Love a Warthog?, Bumples Online Children’s Magazine, November 2013

When I dabble in this imagination that I call an Expedition from Beyond. It’s not meant to last; rather, only for as long as I can study ideas that are as real as a human’s dream wants to come true within Narnia’s Wardrobe. Yes, that’s right. We all know that Narnia is a wonderland that can’t be found in this world, but perhaps the next. Maybe even Terabithia’s hidden entrance? I take fiction and non-fiction, and put these idea’s into what I want to come true out of what people read, not what can be seen on Earth’s solid soil and nearly intangible water.
Always keep in mind proactively, stories are only as real as you make them. But then again, we’re all just stories, living stories in the end, aren’t we?
